Online Searchable Pedigree Database

HCO is pleased to be able to host an online, interactive, search-able pedigree database as part of the site. The database is a combined effort from a number of contributors.
 
All information in the database has been verified as much as possible - however we cannot guarantee its accuracy, and it should in no way be considered "certified".

One of the unique features of the database here on HCO is that the pedigrees will include photos when available - so you can see not only the names of cats within the pedigree, but actual pictures as well!

 

Contributions of pedigrees and/or photos are always welcomed, and will be added to this database - see the "Contribute" page for more information.

Searching tips:

  • search strings must be at least 4 characters long
     
  • to search for a single, complete word, enter that word in the search box, and be sure to mark the “fast search” selection. This will find cats who have that word in their name, as a complete word only. For example, entering “Prince” will find a cat named “Prince John”, but NOT “Princess Grace”.
     
  • To search for a partial word, multiple words, or even a registration number, enter your search word(s) or number in the box, and mark the “slow search” selection. For example, entering "Prince" will find any cats with the word "Prince" in their name, as well as cats like "Princess Grace", or "Prince-Of-Tides".

 

STEP # 1 Select the number of generations you will want displayed in the pedigree. For most computer printers printing in Landscape mode, 5 generations is the best choice.
STEP # 2 Enter the name, or partial name, of the cat to search for.
STEP # 3

Perform fast search by full word.
Perform slow search by partial word, full word, or multiple words.
Click on the "Search Now" button below. This will begin the search.
